Get to know the Bishop...

Bishop McFrazier accepted the call to preach and was licensed in 1995 while serving as Deacon at the Greater Rock of Ages Baptist under the leadership of Pastor Bynum. Then Reverend McFrazier was ordained in 1996 by Pastor Edward Frye at the Richland Baptist Church and served there as a faithful and devoted Associate Minister and then elevated to Assistant Pastor.

In 2001 the Lord called for then Assistant Pastor McFrazier to become the Pastor of the New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church of Christ Jesus. After which through much prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit the Pastor was led to change the church name to New Beginnings Christian Fellowship Church. As Pastor McFrazier saw the need for a non denominational ministry to reach and cross all boundaries to win souls for Christ!

He is a native of Watts, California, and the husband of First Lady Cotasha McFrazier. He is a father and grandfather, and retired from UCLA Medical Center. Pastor McFrazier was consecrated in 2016 as as Overseer in the United Christian Communion under the leadership of the Presiding Bishop J.A. Ross. The Overseer was officially elevated as Bishop McFrazier on July 2018.

Bishop McFrazier is constantly elevating and seeking to be the best servant to God, and service the people of God as he has obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Systematic Theology from the St. James Convergence School of Ministry in August 2018.

An effective communicator of God’s Word, Bishop McFrazier is known for his practical and dynamic preaching and teaching style which helps people apply the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives. He's also known for his awesome counseling and life coaching expertise, and his desire that the lives of God's people be changed!

Bishop McFrazier's favorite Scripture:

Psalm 34

1" I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together."

Get to know Minister Seals

Minister Samuel Seals Jr. presently serves as an Associate Minister of the New Beginnings Christian Fellowship Church under the pastorate of Bishop Harrington McFrazier, Jr. as of June, 2019.  Prior to his moving, he was a faithful member of the Beulah Baptist Church, under the tutelage of Dr. Robert L. Taylor since 1994.  Minister Seals preached his first sermon on July 14, 1991, under the pastorate of his father, Rev. Samuel Seals Sr.; but it was at Beulah where he received his License to Preach the Gospel in 1997 and his Certificate of Ordination in 2007.  Minister Seals loves the Lord and the Word of God, and receives numerous invitations to preach on Sunday Mornings, at Men’s Conferences, on Annual Days, etc. He stands ready to preach whenever called upon.

Minister Seals is doubly blessed, in that he is also known throughout the Los Angeles region as an Organist.  He has been in the Gospel Music Ministry for over 50 years.  He served as the Minister of Music at Beulah Baptist Church for several years, and music staff member of Faithway, MBC, Jerusalem MBC, Sunnyside, BC and is currently, playing for Park Windsor MBC.  His love for music began as a child, and he would often tell the story when he and his brother were learning to play the organ together, they would take turns playing the organ keyboard while the other would play the base pedals, as they were too short to reach them.

His style is “Traditional Gospel,” and his music passion is towards the Men’s Choir.  He loves organizing and gathering the men together to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord.”  His music ability and experience is a Gift from God, as he plays by ear.  As such, he continues to stay apprised of the current music genre to develop his skills accordingly!

Minister Seals is a graduate of Venice High School, and to further his education of the gospel, he attended Los Angeles Bible Training School. Minister Seals is committed to advancing the Kingdom of God through the Preached Word, and the Gospel Music Ministry. Minister Seals is retired from U.C.L.A. and married to Pastor Fay Seals also of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship Church. Together they have 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
